In this work is proposed the design of a system to
create and handle Electric Vehicles (EV) charging procedures,
based on intelligent process. Due to the electrical power
distribution network limitation and absence of smart meter
devices, Electric Vehicles charging should be performed in a
balanced way, taking into account past experience (spread in a
social network). In order to allow information exchange and to
help user mobility, it was also created a mobile application to
assist the EV driver on these processes. This proposed Smart
Electric Vehicle Charging System uses Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G)
technology, in order to connect Electric Vehicles and also
renewable energy sources to Smart Grids (SG). This system
also explores the new paradigm of Electrical Markets (EM),
with deregulation of electricity production and use, in order to

Being the next big step in automobile industry,
electric vehicles continue to have limited autonomy which
associated with the long charging times, limited charging
stations and undeveloped smart grid infrastructure demands
for a hard planning of the daily use of the vehicle. This paper
presents an information system that will help the driver in the
daily use of his electric vehicle, minimizing the problem of
range anxiety thru the continuous control of the vehicle range
and presenting in time relevant information about the charging
stations within reach. Given the success of recommendation
systems on automatically delivering the relevant information in
numerous areas of usage, it can be applied in this scenario as
well as with the objective of maximizing the relevance of the
information presented to the driver, which should be the

This paper presents a recommender system responsible for processing information that will help the driver in the daily use of his Electric Vehicle (EV), minimizing the problem of range anxiety through a personalized range prediction and by presenting in real time relevant information about the charging stations that can be reached within the range autonomy. Given the success of recommendation systems on automatic delivery of relevant information in numerous areas of usage, this type of systems can also be applied in the electric mobility scenario, with the objective of maximizing the relevance of the information presented to the driver, which should be the strictly needed data for the driver to make important decisions, filtering out the unnecessary information.
This paper presents a simulation platform for
control and monitor the Electric Vehicle charging process,
based on existing power distribution limitations and
Microgeneration capacity. The goal of this research is to
simulate the energy consumption and their unexpected
behavior, using past experience and taking into account
distribution network and home power limitation to find an
intelligent charging pattern. This paper proposes a novel
approach for this problem based on a simulation platform
where stochastic process is adopted to perform unexpected
user behavior. This simulation platform can be used to
determine the capability of the actual electrical distribution
network for supplying energy to the final consumers and for
charging the bank of batteries of electrical vehicles, which can
occur simultaneously.
This paper presents an agent process simulation to control and monitor the Electric Vehicle charging process, using existing power distribution limitations and microgeneration capacity. The goal is to simulate the consumers’ energy consumption and their unexpected behavior, using past experience and taking into account distribution network and home power limitation to find an intelligent charging pattern. This paper proposes a novel approach for this problem based on an agent-based simulation platform where stochastic process is adopted to perform unexpected user behavior. This simulation tool can be used to determine the capability of the actual electrical distribution network for supply energy to the final consumers and for charge the bank of batteries of electrical vehicles, which can occur simultaneously.
Our work proposal is based on the past driving data that are stored in a driver profile, and using real time information about the Electric Vehicle parameters (e.g. speed and energy stored in the batteries), combined with external parameters (e.g. condi-tions of roads, traffic, and weather), determine the range autonomy accurately, taking into account the historical driver behavior. The driver profile is based on the stored data, which acts as training set for a Data Mining approach, in order to estimate the Electric Vehicle range. The Data Mining approach uses a regression model aiming to find the better range autonomy, which is used to represent the current Electric Vehicle range autonomy on a map.
As a specification carries out relevant information concerning the behaviour of a program, why not explore this fact to slice a program in a semantic sense aiming at optimizing it or easing its verification? It was this idea that Comuzzi, in 1996, introduced with the notion of postcondition-based slicing | slice a program using the information contained in the postcondition (the condition Q that is guaranteed to hold at the exit of a program). After him, several advances were made and different extensions were proposed, bridging the two areas of Program Verification and Program Slicing: specifically precondition-based slicing and specification-based slicing. The work reported in this Ph.D. dissertation explores further relations between these two areas aiming at discovering mutual benefits.
A deep study of specification-based slicing h...
Thailand, full meaning symbolize “land of the free” is the distinction of being the only country in South
East Asia never to have been colonized. The country is the democratic country with constitutional monarchy,
having the King as a head of the state. Country in closed relationship with U.S since late 1940s, the western
exposure on education and some management practices including human resource practices have been
implemented in organizations in Thailand. The health care sector has been operating as a key player with
highest manpower compare to other sectors in Thailand thus, the challenges are numerous in relate to human
resource management.
The study of human resource practices in health care sector is intriguing because, the traditional
employment management systems of Thai firms are implementing modernised methods, which many of...
